First. an introduction

By using the Drovox app, you trust Drovox with your personal information. We are committed to maintaining your trust. This commitment begins with helping you understand the privacy practices of Drovox.

 

This notice explains what personal data we collect, how it is used and shared, as well as the choices you have regarding that data. We recommend that you read this Notice and see our Privacy Overview, which covers the main points of our privacy practices.

Secondly. Overview

  1. The range

This notice applies to users of Drovox services anywhere, including users of other Drovox applications, websites, features, and services.

This notice explains how Drovox and its affiliates collect and use personal data. This notice applies to all users of Drovox's apps, websites, features and other services anywhere in the world, unless a separate privacy notice applies. This notice applies specifically to:

• Passengers: Persons who request or receive a means of transportation, including those for whom another person has requested a means of transportation.

• Drivers: Persons who provide transportation services to passengers independently or through intermediary carriers

This notice also applies to Drovox's collection of other personal data in connection with the services you provide. For example the personal data of those who start applying to become a driver or delivery driver and do not complete their applications; or other personal data relating to map technology and features provided by Drovox.

All persons to whom this notice is addressed are referred to as “Users”.

Additionally, please note the following:

Guest Users: Personal data of people who order trips or deliveries through the Websites (“Guest Users”) are used only to provide such trips, deliveries or other services ordered through a third party, and for safety and security purposes, customer support, research and development and to enable communication between Users and in connection with each of the legal procedures and requirements as described in the “How Personal Data is used” section below. Guest User's personal data may be shared with third parties in the course of these purposes. This data may be linked to the owner of this account and make it available to him.

Our practices are governed by the laws of the places where we provide our services. This means that we engage in the practices described in this notice in a particular country or region only if permitted by the laws in those places.

 

  1. Data Controllers and Transfers
  • Drovox is the controller of the personal data collected in connection with the use of the Drovox services
  • Drovox manages, collects and analyzes personal data.
  • The purpose is to enforce our agreements with users, such as applicable Terms of Use, or based on users' prior consent, or other transfer mechanisms that may be available under applicable law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Third. Data Collection and Use Policies

  1. Data We Collect

Drovox collects personal data that users provide to the Application, such as information entered during account creation created while using our Services, such as location data, application usage data, and phone data from other sources, such as other users or account owners, business partners, and financial solution providers

  • Data provided by users. It includes the following:

User Profile: We collect data when users create or update accounts in Drovox. This may include the user's name, email, phone number, address, profile picture, payment or banking information (including relevant payment verification information), driver's license and other government-issued identification documents (which may refer to document numbers). date of birth, gender, and profile picture). This also includes transportation or insurance information for drivers and delivery partners, emergency contact information, user settings, and evidence of health or fitness appropriate to provide services using the Drovox app.

We may use images provided by users to verify their identities through facial recognition technologies.

Criminal background check and identity check (drivers). This information may include the driver's or criminal record (as permitted by law), driver's license status, known aliases, previous addresses, and eligibility to work. This information may be collected by an authorized reseller on behalf of Drovox. We also verify the identity of the passengers

Demographic data: We may collect demographic data about users in general, and through surveys submitted to them

We may also infer demographic data from other data collected from users. For example, where necessary we may infer the user's gender using the first name to enable features that allow women to provide services to or receive services from other women. In similar cases, we allow users to change their gender, if necessary, through in-app settings.

 

User Content: We collect data that Users send when they contact Drovox's customer support service (including at Drovox's registry offices), or provide ratings or positive comments to other users. This may include comments, photographs or other recordings collected by Users, which Users submit in the course of Customer Support. This also includes metadata related to the method used to communicate with Drovox.

 

Travel information: We collect itinerary information, including the dates and times of upcoming trips, and we collect certain information, including when users manually enter their information into the itinerary

  • Data generated while using our services. It includes the following:

Location Data: We collect exact or approximate location data of drivers and customers, including to enable rides and delivery services, to enable ride tracking/delivery services and safety features, to prevent and detect fraud, and to meet legal requirements. Drovox collects this data when you run the Drovox app in the mobile interface (when the app is open and visible) or in the mobile background (when the app is open but not visible).

Location data (passengers and delivery recipients). We collect exact or approximate location data of passengers and delivery order recipients to enable and enhance the use of our apps, including improving pickups, facilitating delivery services, enabling safety features, and preventing and detecting fraud. Please see our rider location help page for detailed information on how we use this data.

We collect this data from users' mobile devices if they allow us to do so. Drovox collects this data from the time the ride or delivery is requested to completion (and may indicate such collection via an icon or a notification on the user's mobile device depending on that device's operating system), and at any time The app is running in the mobile interface (when the app is open and visible on the screen).

Riders may use the Drovox app without allowing Drovox to collect precise location data from mobile devices. However, this may affect features in the Drovox app. For example, a user who has not allowed Drovox to collect location data would have to enter the pickup address manually. In addition, location data collected from a driver's device during a trip will be associated with the rider's account, even if location data is not permitted to be collected from their device, including for the purposes of generating receipts, customer support, fraud monitoring, insurance coverage, and litigation.

 

Transaction Information: We collect transaction information relating to the use of our Services, including the type of services requested or provided, order details, payment transaction information and delivery service information, date and time of service provision, amount charged, mileage, and payment method. Additionally, if someone uses your promotional code, we may associate your name with that person.

Usage data: We collect data about how users interact with our services. This data includes access dates and times, application features or pages viewed, application crashes and other system activities, and browser type. We may also collect data about third-party websites or services used prior to engaging with our Services, which we use for marketing purposes. In some cases, we collect this data through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar tracking technologies that create and maintain unique identifiers. Device data: We may collect data about the devices used to make use of our Services, including device models, device IP address or other unique device identifiers, operating systems and versions, software, preferred languages, advertising identifiers, device traffic data, and mobile network data.

Communication data: We allow users to communicate with other users and with the Drovox app through the Drovox websites and mobile apps. For example, we allow drivers, passengers and passengers to make calls, send text messages, or send other files to each other (in general). To provide this service, Drovox receives certain data about calls or text messages, including the date, times and content of communications. Drovox may also use this data in the context of customer support services (including to resolve disputes between users), for safety and security purposes, to improve our services and features, and to perform analytics.

 

Data from other sources. It includes the following:

  • Users participating in the Referral Programs. For example, if a user invites another person, we receive the personal data of the invited person from that user.
  • Drovox account holders who request services for or on behalf of other users, or who allow such users to request or receive services through their account
  • Users or other persons providing information relating to claims or disputes.
  • Business partners of Drovox through whom users use or create their Drovox accounts, such as payment service providers, social media services, applications or websites that use Drovox APIs, or whose APIs are used by Drovox.
  • Drovox business partners in connection with debit or credit cards issued by a financial institution partnering with Drovox to the extent disclosed in the card's terms and conditions.
  • Suppliers who help us verify users' identity, criminal background information, and eligibility to work, or who screen users for sanctions, anti-money laundering or KYC requirements
  • Providers of insurance, transportation, or financial services for drivers and/or delivery partners
  • Participating carriers (drivers or who use our Services through an account linked to a similar carrier)
  • Publicly available resources
  • Marketing service providers or data distributors whose data Drovox uses for marketing or research purposes
  • Legal entities, public health authorities, and other government authorities
  • Drovox may combine data collected from these sources with other data in its possession.
  1. How Drovox uses personal data

Drovox uses personal data to provide transportation, delivery, and other services and products in a convenient and secure manner. We also use this data:

  • To enhance the safety of users and the security of our services
  • To provide customer support
  • To conduct research and development operations
  • To provide means of communication between users
  • To send marketing and non-marketing communications to users
  • Regarding legal procedures
  • Drovox does not sell or share users' personal data with third parties for direct marketing without the users' consent.

 

We use the personal data we collect to:

  1. Drovox uses data to better deliver, personalize, retain, and improve our Services. This includes using data:
  • To create/update accounts
  • To enable transportation and delivery services (such as using location data to facilitate pick-up or delivery), features that include data sharing (such as fare sharing, sharing ETA, ratings, positive feedback) and accessibility features to facilitate their use of our Services
  • To make payments
  • To track and share trips or deliveries
  • To create an itinerary and provide related services, such as trips to the airport or food delivery services.
  • To customize user accounts. Based on their previous requests.
  • To facilitate insurance coverage, transportation, billing or financing solutions
  • To perform operations necessary to maintain our Services, including troubleshooting software and operational problems, performing data analysis, testing, and research, and monitoring and analyzing usage and effectiveness rates.
  1. Safety and Security: We use personal data to help maintain the safety and security of our Services and users. It includes the following:

 

  • Verify the identity of Users and their eligibility to provide transportation or delivery services, including through reviews of criminal background checks, where permitted by law, to help prevent dangerous drivers and/or passengers from using our Services. In some regions, this includes Drovox's real-time authentication feature, which asks drivers to share a selfie before going online to help confirm that a driver using the app matches their registered account with us.
  • Using data from drivers' devices or delivery partners to detect unsafe driving behaviors such as driving too fast or using the brakes and accelerator hard to inform them of safe driving practices. We also use data from delivery partner devices to verify the type of transportation they use to provide delivery services.
  • Use device data, location, user profile, usage, and other data to prevent, monitor, and combat fraudulent activities. This includes identifying fraudulent accounts or uses of our services, preventing unauthorized drivers from using our services, verifying users' identities in connection with certain payment methods, and preventing and combating unauthorized access to user accounts.
  • Use user ratings, reported events, and other feedback to encourage compliance with the Drovox Guidelines, and as a justification for disabling the accounts of users with low ratings or who otherwise violated these Guidelines.
  • Share information about drivers’ serious safety incidents or compliance with regulations with third parties, including other companies that enable users to request or provide rides or delivery services, to prevent drivers who may pose a safety risk to the app or its users from using the services of the Drovox app or Other corporate services. We may also share information with third parties, including those affected by such incidents, to see if such incidents lead to account suspension.
  • Use ratings, usage and other data to prevent matching passengers and drivers who are at greater risk of conflict (for example, because one user has previously given the other a low rating).
  • Drovox performs the above activities on the basis that they are necessary to fulfill our obligations to users under our Terms of Use or other agreements with users, and for the legitimate safety and security purposes of Drovox or other parties, including users and the general public.
  1. Customer support: Drovox uses the information we collect (which may include call recordings) to provide customer support, including to investigate and address user concerns and to monitor and improve our customer support responses and processes.

 

 

  1. Research and development. We may use personal data for testing, research, analysis, product development, and machine learning to improve the user experience. This helps us make our services more convenient and easier-to-use, enhance the safety and security of our services, and develop new services and features.

 

 

  1. Enabling communications between users. For example, a driver may message or call a rider to confirm a pickup location, a rider may contact a driver to retrieve a lost item.

 

  1. Marketing:

 Drovox may use personal data to market its services to users. This includes marketing about the application's services, features and promotions, prize draw contests, existing studies, opinion polls, news, updates and events on users' social media. We may do this through various methods, including email, text messages, push notifications, in-app communications, advertisements, and advertisements on third-party applications.

We may also inform users of the products and services offered by application partners. For example, we may provide recommendations, promotions or advertisements to application partners based on users' past delivery services. Although we inform users of the products and services offered by application partners, we do not sell or share users' personal data with such partners or others for marketing or direct advertising purposes to them without the users' consent.

We may use the data we collect, including advertising partner data, to personalize and improve the marketing communications (including advertisements) we send within the App, and user preferences and settings based on the user's location. For example, we share user data (such as email address, usage information, and device or user identifiers) with Facebook to personalize and improve ads for the App Services.

  1. Non-marketing communications:

Drovox may use personal data to generate and provide receipts to users; To inform them of changes to our terms, services, or policies or send other non-marketing messages about Drovox's services, products or partners.

 

  1. Automated decision making:

We use personal data to automatically make decisions about the use of our services. It includes the following:

Enable dynamic pricing, where the price of a trip is determined based on constantly changing factors such as estimated time and distance, expected routes, estimated traffic, and the number of drivers using the app at specific times.

Matching available drivers with users requesting services. Users can be matched based on availability, proximity, and other factors such as the likelihood of a ride being accepted based on their past behavior or preferences.

Determining user ratings, and disabling user accounts with low ratings. This suspension only occurs after human review

Use driver location information, and communications between passengers and drivers, to determine the amount of cancellation fees that have been collected or caused by fraudulent activity. For example, if we determine using this information that the driver is delaying the pick-up of the rider to incentivize the rider to cancel the ride, the rider will not be charged a cancellation fee, and we will adjust the amount paid to the driver to deduct the fee.

Use driver data (such as location, rating, and gender) and passenger data (such as rating, pick-up location and destination) to help avoid matches between users that may lead to further conflict between users.

 

  1. Cookies and Third Party Technologies

Drovox website uses cookies and other identification technologies on apps, websites, email addresses, and online advertising for the purposes described in this Notice.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on browsers or devices by websites, apps, online media, and advertisements. Drovox uses cookies and similar technologies for purposes such as:

  • User authentication
  • Remember users' preferences and settings
  • Determine how popular the content is
  • Display advertising campaigns and measure their effectiveness
  • Analysis of site usage and trends, and general understanding of the behaviors and interests of people who interact with our online services

We may also allow others to provide analytics and audience sizing services, serve ads on our behalf across the Internet, and track and report on the performance of those ads. These entities may also use cookies, web beacons, software development kit (SDK) tools, and other technologies to identify devices used by visitors to our sites, as well as when visiting other sites and online services.

Information sharing and disclosure:

Some Drovox services and features require that personal data be shared with other users or at the user's request. We may also share this data with our partners, for legal reasons or in connection with claims or disputes.

 

Drovox may share personal data:

  1. With other users, this includes sharing the following:
  • The first name of the passengers, their rating, their meeting locations with the drivers and their disembarkation locations.
  • The first name of the passengers with the passengers participating in a joint trip.
  • For drivers, we may share data with the passenger including their username and photo; vehicle manufacturer, model, color and license plate, picture, and location (before and during the trip); Average user rating, total number of trips, duration of Drovox since registration as driver, driver profile, including positive reviews, and other feedback from previous users.
  • We also provide passengers with receipts that include information such as details of the amounts charged, the driver's first name, photo, and a road map. We also include other information in these receipts if required by law.
  • For users who participate in invitations from other individuals, we share some personal data of invited users, such as the number of trips, with the user who invited them, to the extent appropriate to determine the reward for the invitation.
  1. At the request of the user, this includes sharing data with:
  • Other people at the request of the user. For example, we share a user's estimated access time and location with a friend at that user's request, or information about a user's journey when they split the fare with their friend.
  • Drovox Business Partners. For example, if a user requests a service through a partnership or promotion offered by a third party, Drovox may share certain information with those third parties. This may include, for example, other services, platforms, applications, or websites that integrate with our application programming interfaces (APIs), and mobility or service vendors that provide an API or a service with which we integrate, restaurants, stores or other business partners of Drovox and their users in connection with promotions, contests, or specialized services.
  • Emergency Services: We offer features that enable users to share their data with police, fire, and ambulance services in an emergency or after an accident. for further information.
  1. With Drovox service providers and business partners

Drovox provides personal data to suppliers, consultants, marketing partners, research firms, and other service providers or business partners. This includes the following:

  • Payment facilitators and executioners
  • Providers of criminal background checks and identity checks
  • Cloud storage service providers
  • Google, in connection with the use of “Google Maps”
  • Social media companies
  • Marketing partners and providers of marketing platforms, including social media advertising services, ad networks, third-party data providers, and other service providers to reach or better understand our users and measure the effectiveness of advertisements
  • Research partners, including those who carry out surveys or research projects in partnership with or on behalf of Drovox
  • Vendors that help Drovox enhance safety and security in their applications
  • Consultants, lawyers, accountants, and other professional service providers
  • Insurance and financial services partners
  • Third party transportation providers, including car fleets and car rental partners
  1. For legal reasons or in the event of disputes

Drovox may share users' personal data if we believe it is required by law, rules, applicable legal process or government requests, or when disclosure is necessary for safety or similar concerns.

This includes sharing personal data with government authorities or airport officials (if airport authorities request such data as a condition of operating on the airport grounds), or with other third parties as necessary to enforce applicable terms of service, user agreements, or a dispute relating to the use of our services. In the event of a dispute regarding the use of someone else's credit card, we may be required by law to share your personal data, including trip or order information, with the owner of that credit card.

 

This also includes sharing personal data with others in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation, restructuring, financing, or partial or total acquisition of our business by another company.

  1. Keeping and deleting data

Drovox keeps users' data for as long as necessary for the above purposes.

Users may request deletion of their account at any time. Drovox may retain user data after requesting deletion due to legal or regulatory requirements.

After requesting account deletion, the Application deletes the user's account and data, unless it must be preserved due to legal or regulatory requirements, for safety, security and fraud prevention purposes, or because of an issue with the user's account such as an outstanding balance, an outstanding claim, or an unresolved dispute. To comply with legal and regulatory requirements relating to driver and delivery partners,

 

  1. Choice and transparency

The app allows users to use and/or control the data it collects, including by:

  • Privacy settings
    • Location data collection (riders and delivery recipients)
    • Share Live Location (Riders)
    • Emergency Data Sharing
    • Notifications: account and trip updates
    • Notifications: discounts and news
    • Communications from restaurants and merchants
  • Device Permissions
    • Most mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) have set certain types of device data that apps can't use without the device owner's permission, and these platforms have different ways of how to get this permission. Please check the settings available on your device or check with your service provider.
  • Reviews pages in the app
    • After each ride, riders and driver partners can rate one another on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. The average rating is associated with a user account and displayed to other users who provide or receive services. For example, the driver rating feature is available to passengers who request rides, and the passenger rating feature is available to the driver partner.
    • The Mutual Evaluation System holds everyone accountable for their behavior. Taking responsibility helps create a respectful and safe environment for both drivers and passengers.
    • Riders can see the average rating in the main menu in the Drovox app.
    • Drivers can also see the average rating after clicking on the profile.
  • Marketing options
  • Users may opt out of certain marketing communications (including advertising) and use their data for marketing in the following ways:
  • Ads Settings: These settings enable users to accept or decline the sharing of their data with ad partners Drovox for the purposes of serving personalized ads and measuring the effectiveness of these ads.
  • Marketing Emails and Texts: To opt out of receiving marketing emails from Drovox, or for instructions on how to set your preferences regarding receiving SMS or push notifications for marketing purposes from Drovox. We may still send non-promotional messages to users who have opted out, such as trip receipts or information about their account.
  • Users' personal data requests
  • Drovox provides users with a variety of ways to identify, control and provide inquiries and feedback regarding how Drovox uses their personal data.
  • View data: Users can view data, including profile data and trips or order history through Drovox apps
  • Data acquisition: Users can request a copy of their personal data using the Download Your Data tool. For an overview of the data available through this tool, please click here. Users can also request a copy of their data here.
  • Change or update data: Users can edit name, phone number, email address, payment method, and account picture

 

  1. Updates to this notice

We may occasionally update this notice. If significant changes are made, we will inform users in advance of them through the Drovox apps or through other means, such as email. We encourage Users to review this Notice periodically for the most current information about applicable privacy practices.

To the extent permitted by law, use of our Services after they are updated constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
